Scott is a highly experienced performer and teacher in the traditions of bagpipes, smallpipes, the whistle and composition. Scott is a Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Alumni holding a 1st class BMus TRAD Hons Degree.

 

Scott has performed for the likes of Dougie MacLean, Sugar-Ray Leonard and His Royal Highness Prince Charles as well as appearing on BBC Alba.  Other accomplishments include being a two times BBC  Radio Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the Year Semi-Finalist and prizes at solo piping competitions.

 

Being a tune smith Scott has his own line of tune books out called 'Duality' and has featured in other music collections such as Michael Grey Book 7 and the South West Scotland Collection.

 

Scotts tuition experience includes Private Tuition, National Piping Centre Young Stars and the former Head Instructor of the North Ayrshire Piping & Drumming Academy.
